Mr John Trigg was the first President.
There are still descendants of these men living in the area.

Working bees were held to plant the green and erect a brush fence.

The official opening was March 25th 1914.  Subscriptions were set at one guinea ($2.10) for Ladies and Men.

The club became affiliated with SA Bowling Association in October 1914.
With 3 rinks 12 players, currently we have 7 Men’s teams and 4 Ladies teams 132 players.

The Women’s Club was formed in 1936 with Mrs A Williamson as the First President.

The Club has continued to grow over the years and there were many changes to the building from 1914 to now.

Membership has grown since the carpet greens were installed in winter 2008 and now stands at approx. 170.
